New electric motor cycle in Pune
Bhushan Garud : Pune, Rahul Sharma, co-founder of Micromax, has entered the electric motorcycle market through his ‘Revolt IntelliCorp’ company. Revolt has introduced two new electric motorcycles in the Indian market. Mobile apps can also be added to this new electric motorcycle. Apart from this, removable batteries have also been provided. The motorcycle was initially made available in Delhi and is now available in Pune.
“Pune is an important market for us,” said Rahul Sharma, founder of Revolt IntelliCorp. If there is good demand from Pune, there are plans to build vehicles in Pune in the future.
The Revolt RV400 and Revolt RV300 are the models introduced by the company. The Revolt RV400 is the first motorcycle in the country to have electric and artificial intelligence technology. The Revolt RV400 has three variants. Eco, City and Sport. The company claims that the Eco RV400 can reach 156 kilometers once charged. While the City model reaches 80-90 km once charging.
The RV400 has a 3,000W motor, with a torque of 170 Nm that can reach 85 km per hour. Along with this motorcycle, charger is provided. This charger can be used in a 15A socket. It takes less than 4 hours for the motorcycle to be fully charged.
Sharma has introduced a new business model in the electric vehicles business by Revolt IntelliCorp. Just as the software is a service as a service (SAS) model in the field of software, the new company has introduced the model MAAS, Motorcycle as a service. Under this new business model, consumers will not have to pay any big money to buy this motorcycle. Customers will have to pay one month per week for a small amount. That amount will cover all services. Therefore, customers will not have to incur a separate maintenance cost, such as insurance.
Sharma says the electric vehicle business is a new field and that it has to innovate. Every citizen of the country will get a new motorcycle at a cost that will be affordable to the students. The revolt will be on sale in stores and online as well. After Delhi, a car has been made available in Pune.
