Cyber Cell Police Arrest Nigerian Man With A False Profile From Matrimonial Site
Cyber Cell police inspector Machindra Pandit has arrested a Nigerian man for defrauding a woman from Matrimonial site in Ambegaon Pune through a false profile.
According to police,
The woman in Ambegaon had received a request from a Matrimonial site through the profile of Avinish Kumar. It has been reported that the gift has been stopped at the Delhi Customs. An amount of Rs 28,000 was demanded for redemption of the gift and an account number was given to fill it. The woman realized that she had been cheated. The woman lodged a complaint with Bharati University Police about the incident. The cyber police station would have done a number investigation on behalf of the crime. It was noticed that the numbers were used from Delhi. Cyber Police Inspector Machindra Pandit left for Delhi along with colleagues to search for the accused. Nigerian accused of trapping in Delhi

Wi-Fi Router 10 Mobile, 2 Laptop e from them. The materials were confiscated. They have been handed over to Bharati University Police for further action.
