In fact, Jeetan Ram Manjhi made this statement in Purnia on Thursday when he was questioned by showing a picture, in which a middle-aged man was seen in an unhappy state at a rally addressed by the former Chief Minister. This picture went viral on social media.

Former Chief Minister Manjhi said, ‘I don’t know if this person is intoxicated or not. But let us stop making a big argument about the consumption of alcohol. Drink is sometimes offered as a medicine. I feel it. I was suffering from cholera long ago when a prescription saved me.
