Umm Al Quwain Free Trade Zone (UAQ FTZ), which is a strategic initiative of the Government of Umm Al Quwain provides one stop shop solution for trade & investment in Umm Al Quwain region. The key sectors of Umm Al Quwain are Fishing, Food Processing, Energy & Clean Tech, Hotel & Infrastructure, Textile & Readymade Garments, Heavy Machine Engineering Etc. Their officials Mr. Salu C. Scaria, & Sameh Magdi from Business Development visited India for an event organized by Crescendo Worldwide in Pune.
Mr. Vishal Jadhav, President- Crescendo Worldwide, briefed about how Indian businesses can invest in UAQ and how investing can be beneficial for them. In his presentation, Mr. Jadhav highlighted the opportunities for Indian Companies on why UAQ can be the strategic location for their expansion in MENA region. Post this Mr. Sameh and Mr. Scaria addressed the Indian companies on the Government support provided by UAQ and also explained on various Incentives, Registration process, License options & other offers for Indian companies to expand their business in United Arab Emirates through UAQ strategically.
Indian companies from Energy & Clean Tech, Manufacturing, Food Processing who were focused for this event expressed great interests in One to One Discussion round after the event. Few companies were in talks with UAQ FTZ for taking the next step ahead in expanding their horizons in the Middle – East market.
