As the nation’s global epidemic of Kovid-19 continues to worsen, the relief news on Wednesday is that the number of people recovering from this infection has increased compared to active cases of the corona virus. According to the data released this morning by the Union Health Ministry, the total number of infections in the country has reached 276583. According to statistics, currently one lakh 33 thousand 632 corona infection cases are active, while one lakh 35 thousand 206 people have recovered from the battle with this deadly virus.

Talking about the states, there is a significant difference in the number of healthy people as compared to active cases in Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Bihar, Andhra Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh etc. While there are 16282 active cases in Tamil Nadu, the number of recoveries is 18325. 

Active cases in Gujarat are 5336 while 14365 are healthy, cases in Rajasthan are 2662 while those who are de-infected are 8328, 4365 are active in Uttar Pradesh, 6669 are healthy, 2563 are active in Bihar, 2864 are healthy, 2191 are active cases in Andhra Pradesh. While there are 2802 healthy and 191 active cases in Himachal Pradesh, 249 people have become healthy. 

This is probably the first time that the number of healthy people has outpaced the number of cases active in the country. India currently ranks fifth on the list of most affected countries in the world and 7745 people have died due to the virus.
