Kathmandu:   Nepal has been hit by the overwhelming winds of stormy times. Till now, 43 people have died due to heavy rains. In addition, 24 people have been missing and 20 are reported to have been injured.

Several areas of Nepal have been flooded due to heavy rains and landslides have occurred in many areas . Many highways have also been affected due to rain. Many rivers are broken and the water in the nearby villages is intact.Nepal’s emergency management chief Bed Nidhi Khanal told AFP that the country has received more than 200 monsoon rains. Food and utilities are being transported to flood- hit areas. Also, the people of the flood prone areas are being shifted to safer places.  There has also been flooding in some areas in the capital Kathmandu. Three people from the same family died due to the collapse of house due to rain. The incident happened in Khotang district, where three more people died due to landslides.
