In memory of the heroic death of a police officer and staff during one year. A tribute was paid by the police on Monday (21) morning at the Police Hutatma Memorial at the Maharashtra State Police Research Center. October 21 is celebrated as a day of remembrance.

For the program, retired police officers Sudhakar Ambedkar, Ravindra Bodakhe, Shishrao Suryawanshi, Vikram Patil, Arun Walture, Satish Patil, Ram Mandurke as well as Pune City Commissioner, Pune Rural, Wireless Communications Department, Crime Investigation Department, Maharashtra State, Department of Motor Transport, 107 Senior Police. Officers and 235 employees were present.

Maharashtra State Police Research Center (CPR) at Pune Stone Road, Police Hutatma Memorial Memorial at Pune at 8 am. Sunil Sridhar Gosavi, District Judge – 2 Additional Sessions Judge, Pune City Police Commissioner Dr. K. Venkatesham, Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissioner Sandeep Bishnoi, Additional Director General of Police Crime Investigation Department Atulchandra Kulkarni, Additional Director General of Police Bintari Message Department Ritesh Kumar, Additional Police Director General Prison Department Sunil Ramanand, Deputy Commissioner of Police. Ravindra Shiswe, senior police commissioner Dr. Sanjay Shinde, senior police commissioner Ashok Morale and senior officers were offered a wreath. A bereavement was organized on this occasion.

Police officers and staff participated in a two-piece set from the Pune City Police Commission and one each from the Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Commissioner for mourning. Also attended by the Musical Department at Police Headquarters Pune. Parade Commander Assistant Commissioner of Police Vijay Chowdhury, Crime and Second Commander Ramkrishna Gotamwad, Reserve Police Inspector, Police Headquarters Shivajinagar, Pune City led the exercise.

On the frigid cold of Hotspur, Ladakh, on October 21, 1959, in Ladakh, equipped Chinese forces suddenly attacked a group of 10 paramilitary soldiers of the paramilitary forces with pre-preparation. At that time, the 10 valiant men fought the enemy and kept their bodies for the country. From then on, October 21, is celebrated as Police Remembrance Day by various police forces in the country. On the day of the police commemoration, tributes are paid to all the police officers and staffs who performed their duties during the past one year at all the police headquarters in the country
