The Indian team suffered a 0–3 sweep in the ODI series after winning the T20 series against New Zealand. Most of the bowlers of the Indian team did not perform well in the ODI series. After the end of the ODI series, former Pakistan cricket team fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has given a big advice to the Indian cricket team. He said that the team management should never keep leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal away from the playing XI.

In the ODI series against the Kiwi team, Yuzvendra Chahal took the maximum 6 wickets in the series from Team India. He had a chance to play two matches. Apart from this, he also took three wickets in the T20 series.

Shoaib Akhtar said on his YouTube channel that Ravindra Jadeja sometimes gets wickets, Kuldeep Yadav did not perform well, but Yuzvendra Chahal is good and should never be put out. Chahal has talent that can confuse the batsmen. He is a complete leg-spinner. He dominates the batsmen, he is street smart.

Please tell that in the first match of the ODI series, Kuldeep Yadav was given the chance to replace Yuzvendra Chahal. He scored 84 runs in 10 overs in the match and India could not defend the target of 348 runs. After this, Yuzvendra Chahal was given a chance in the second match and took 3 wickets for 58 runs, while in the third ODI, he took three wickets for 47 runs. Even though India lost both these matches, Yuzvendra Chahal impressed everyone with his bowling.
