Terror funding case: Pakistan court defers judgment against Hafiz Saeed

The Pakistan Anti-Terrorism Court on Saturday deferred its verdict in two cases of providing financial support for terrorism against Hafiz Saeed, the mastermind of the Mumbai attack, on Saturday at the request of Saeed and adjourned the case till Tuesday. She did it.

Judge Arshad Hussain Bhutta of the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Lahore reserved the verdict against the head of Jamaat-ud Dawa for Saturday last week in two cases of providing funds for terrorism.

After the hearing on Saturday, a court official told PTI-language that the ATC judge looked into Hafiz Saeed’s application in which he had to combine all the cases of providing money for terrorism against him and to pass a verdict after the completion of the case. Appealed.

The officer said the Deputy Prosecutor opposed Saeed’s plea and argued that the case against him had already been completed in two cases and the court could pronounce the verdict under the law. However, the court postponed the hearing till February 11 by issuing notice to both prosecution and defense lawyers for cross-examination on Saeed’s plea. Saeed was produced before the ATC amid tight security.
