Eight Indians including four children died on Tuesday due to a gas leak in a room in a resort in Nepal. All these tourists came to visit Nepal from Kerala. Chief Minister of Kerala Pinarayi Vijayan, Foreign Minister S.K. In a letter to Jaishankar, he has requested to extend all possible help to the friends and families of these tourists.

Superintendent of Police Sushil Singh Rathore said that we had received information that eight people had fainted in the resort room. These people were immediately rushed to the HAMS Hospital, where doctors declared everyone dead. According to the Kathmandu Post news, the identity of the dead was Prabin Kumar Nair (39 years), Sharanya (34 years), Ranjit Kumar TB (39 years), Indu Ranjith (34 years), Shri Bhadra (9 years), Abinab Soraya (9 years) ), Abi Nair (7 years) and Baishnab Ranjith (2 years).

According to the Himalayan Times, these two couples and four children were in a group of 15 people who had come to Pokhara from Kerala. They were returning to their homes and stayed at the Everest Panorama Resort in Daman in Makwanpur district on Monday night. According to the manager of the resort, all the deceased stayed in one room and they ran a gas heater. The manager said that a total of four rooms were booked by the tourists and eight of them stayed in one room and the rest stayed in the other room. All the windows and doors of the room were locked from inside.

The manager of the resort said that on Tuesday morning, other members of the group found these 8 tourists in the room unconscious, after which the police were informed about this.
